BOSTON WINS!!!!!!

Today was a very, very crazy day. To start, we have plans to go to the mall. However, the one who did the research on bus times wasn't himself and screwed us all. We waited at the bus station for almost an hour. By we, I mean--2 Brians, Kat, Kate, Adam, Michelle/Wyatt, and Julio (who has recovered from last night's festivities). Bus doesn't show up because we miss it, and so we split and go shopping in town instead. I head back to Deyo after buying "Unfinished Tales" by J.R.R. Tolkien and an album by Yes entitled "Fragile." Passed some time computing and IMing, then the network decides to die in selected parts of the campus. The funny thing--most of the personal computers are without internet, but all the labs are functioning normally. Confused? I type this now from the Deyo Hall computer lab in the basement. Anyway, after dinner it was back to Esopus for more music writing, and after 4 songs and fried eyes later, I headed back to my dorm to listen on the very climactic Game 5 of the American League Divisional Series between the Boston Red Sox (my favorite team) and the Oakland A's. In a very wild and nail-biting 9th inning, Boston wins it. Now they will face their arch-rivals, the NY Yankees, in a best-of-seven to battle it out to see which team goes on to the World Series. The network has been restored in some places, but not here. I have laundry to attend to now. They make my clothes smell good. Did you know that?
