Today began a 4-day weekend for the children...apparently this day is some staff conference shit, which gave them a 4 day weekend...didn't they just have two weeks off for Christmas? I could have sworn...(sigh) So I woke up around 10 or so to, of course, another petty argument from the children. Yay. Four more days...till I go back to New Paltz. So far, here's where I stand. Since I haven't started paying the bill, New Paltz will withhold food from me. So I can't eat. My plan of action is come the first day of the semester, after my only class, fill out a change of address form, and finally fork over $440 to start paying my bill. This way, I can eat. I also must go into town and apply for a job, most likely ShopRite. Unfortunately, I will have to be a workaholic this semester, and I will demand no more than 30 hours, no less than 20. I must have money in my account. I need a job immediately. I have my work cut out for me. Anyway, after I woke, played Xenosaga for an hour or two, finally conquering Tiamat...now the party is back in Kukai, under attack (so typical of RPGs). I intended to do some writing, to further soothe my mind, but alas, my sisters begged me to go to the frozen bogs for some ice play. The one thing about being 18...you become babysitter. If I didn't go, the girls don't go. Then all the children wanted to go. Whee. Luckily my stepbrother Rob and his girlfriend Jamie came home...with a pot stash. Something like $90 worth. Wow. Anyway, I dragged Rob with me and we had a decent time.
Once we arrived, I pulled out a Swiss Army knife and Rob and I began to see how thick this ice was. We didn't make it all the way through, but we got through 6 inches of ice. Got back home, and I went to the basement with Rob and Jamie until dinner. After dinner, I stayed upstairs as me and my stepdad talked about college monies and who would pay what portion. It's been planned...and I should be alright. It'll be a little rocky, but we'll pull through. I went downstairs only to find a stoned Rob and Jamie, Jamie laughing uncontrollably at times. So we played Mario All-Stars, which was quite humorous. Now we're upstairs, watching some scary movie. No one on AIM...temperature 0. No Rach, even...but, the night is young. Until tomorrow, nighty night all.
