21 going on 12.
Tuesday, 22 June 2004 01:567 hours of sleep later, I woke up to find Rob sneezing. Apparently, I showed the true example of brotherly love--passing my cold to him. I love my bro. Anyway, his plan to cut down on pot use is working...so far. It's been a day--I don't expect him to get too far with it. I went to work...and it was a hellish day.
The Photo Lab was getting unusually high Monday volume, with Father's Day yesterday, and it being the end of school, so many prom pics were being had. Before I came in, the big photo printer went haywire, causing a huge backup. 1 hour photo became 3 hour photo. When I arrived, the printer was fixed, but there on the rack of film ready to be developed, was 20-30 rolls, supposed to have been done by 10:30, 11 AM. I immediately went as fast as I could, running those negatives through and developing them. But...more and more people were dropping film off faster than I could develop it, and so the wait time would be extended to beyond one hour. Customers were getting pissed. And so was I. By the end of the night, however...I knocked the wait time down to an hour and a half. James (the Photo Closer) and I are supposed to shut the machines down at 7 PM, giving us 2 hours to close. I finally ran the last negatives through close to 8:30. What normally takes us 2 hours to do, we did in 30 minutes. Got home, and did the online thing. Now I go to bed. Work 12-9 tomorrow, all the way until Friday, my next day off.
6 days until the contest begins. http://nemiseph.suddenlaunch2.com or http://tiduskingdom.suddenlaunch.com.
Nighty night, all.
