I should know by now that realistic and logical thinking is non-existant here. I go to bed at 2:30 AM, the usual, with the intention of sleeping in because I've got the day off.

Well, 6 hours later, Mikey runs downstairs screaming, "power's back!"

Rob, who's already awake, blares his music, this totally ending any chance of going back to sleep.

Of course, the one night where I sleep so wonderfully warm and soundly this whole week...gets shattered by kids and music early in the morning. Typical.

So, I'm here, still wiped. On top of that, I might be asked to shovel the driveway soon. Fun.

Power is being sporadic, so if power goes out, I might not be on for a while.

Ta.

And oh, such power. I can't listen to the Phantom soundtrack without crying. Every time I've listened to it in its entirety, I always cry. Every time I listen to that soundtrack, it makes me want to perform in that show more and more, to play the part of the Phantom. So, I've taken to learning "Music of the Night." Even that song makes me teary-eyed, but I love it so much. I warn you now, Cilla--should we go see that movie, I will, without question, use your shoulder to bury my face in sobbing. Just letting you know.

Apparently, it's the worst storm ever. Now, I'm hearing Cape Cod is expecting nearly 3 feet of snow. It was this news that made Wal-Mart into a frickin' zoo. Bedlam. Chaos. Uncertainty. Brother pitted against brother. Babies having babies. Then one day, from the right side of the screen...there came a man. A man with a plastic rectangle.

I MEAN, LAPTOP COMPUTERRRR!

Right. Seriously, though--total chaos. Nearly every register in the store was in use--electronics, wireless, photo, jewelry, service desk, vision center...yah. It was busy from the get-go.

It didn't help that I got around 5 hours of sleep. It was getting to the point where I was starting to see my breath down here. The cold had seeped through the blanket, and through my two layers of clothes. So, I was awake. Around 5 or so, it was totally dead. Storm had begun, and barely anyone was in the store. I got home, and I found a package on my bed from April...she sent me a blue, fleece blanket to keep me warm, plus a little love note that made me melt. We had some birthday cake, and I talked to April on the phone for a bit. Listened to Phantom and started crying while I was updating my contest, then added to my RP and chatted with Sarah. Now, last night's sleep deprivation is catching up, so I'll be going to bed soon.

Nighty night, all.
