Who said this wasn't gonna be a thriller?
Well, I now know this. MCLA wants their money...NOW. How did I come to that conclusion? When I went to lunch, got my food, and when my card was swiped, it said, "card suspended." So...can't eat. I'll be able to eat when they see their money. Very pissed, I went back to my dorm, and had a chat with Sallie Mae about my loan app. Sure enough, I was declined because I don't have any established credit. However, I'm eligible with a co-signer. So, I called up my house and talked to my grandmother, and she agreed. I now have all of her info, and will be doing the app tomorrow. So far, it looks like I just might be in the clear.
And throughout this whole situation, I've been mostly calm. There were times when I went into panic, but I've been mostly relaxed about this whole situation.
Back to the day, I also talked to my stepdad on the phone for about 20 minutes, and we caught up on life, Bob talked about his adventure on Mt. Washington, life at home, and everything seemed good. Since Bob isn't a phone person, we only chatted for about 20 minutes.
April, you've been given the go by Bob to come home for Thanksgiving. YAY!
Went to work, where Game 6 began of the ALCS. For the 4 hours I was there, I was in DT, asking customers what the score was throughout the game. I was overjoyed when Boston broke out in front, 4-0. Then, late in the game when the Yankees were threatening, it became 4-2, and I got a bit nervous. When I left work, it was the bottom 9th, Yankee 9th, 4-2. I left work with 1 out. As I rode my bike up the last hill before the campus, I heard the celebratory roar all over MCLA, people screaming and dancing at Boston's victory to tie the series at 3-3. What a nice way to come home...Boston made history as being the first team to come back from an 0-3 hole to force a Game 7. Now, next one wins. Tomorrow, the final, the winner-take-all game. So I'm happy.
Nighty night, all.
