For getting 4 hours of sleep, I was quite awake. Until...my Modern World class, when my body told me I needed sleep by making me nod off in that class, which I never do, since the professor's engaging. After class, I had to snarf a quick dinner, then head to work. Work was quite fun tonight, as I worked with a bunch of crazy people, where I was in my element, with Wonka galore. However, the night would end on such a joyous note.

When I left, Game 5 of the ALCS just started. I expected the game to end before I left work at 10. However, the game went on and on, 11 minutes shy of 6 hours. For the longest time, it seemed, it was 4-2, Yankees, with the reports by customers in Drive-Thru. Then, someone called McD, telling us it was 4-4. When I left, it was the 12th inning, still tied. I get back, and EVERY TV is on the game. And every single pitch was a nail biter, a friggin' drama. Finally, with 2 outs and 2 on in the bottom of the 14th, David Ortiz, the man who hit the game-winning HR last night (or, this morning), did it again by hitting a bloop single into shallow center field to win the game for Boston, 5-4, sending the ALCS back to New York. Game 6, Yankee Stadium, tomorrow night, 8 PM. When Boston Won, it was the loudest I ever heard Berkshire Towers yet, as chaos began to reign over all, everyone coming out of their dorms, screaming, running, hugging, myself included, while J.P., Brandon, and Jason held their heads in defeat. Even RA Doug joined in the melee, and chaos lasted for about 20 minutes before a happy calm settled over. Just after that game's end, it switched over to the NLCS, where another nail-biter was going on with the Cardinals and Astros. The entire game remained deadlocked, 0-0, until the bottom of the 9th, where the Astros managed to pelt a 3-run walkoff home run to win the game, the Astros taking a 3-2 lead in the series. Even though that game was exciting, nothing compared to tonight's bedlam, where everyone joined in the scrum when Ortiz hit that blooper. When the Red Sox won, I sent April's brother a taunting email.

In other news, chatted with April for roughly 2 minutes before my roomie had the audacity to tell me that his wife was calling in a couple minutes. And sure enough, as punishment for the Red Sox winning, April goes to bed no more than a minute after Kaz gets off the phone.

But...happy me!!!! Now I'll go to class grinning tomorrow...or not. I work from 8 PM to midnight.

Nighty night, all.
