Well, you see...running at full speed into a metal pole...yeah.
Ah, yes. The Tuesday rigamarole. Why can't it be, say...a weekend? After going to bed around 2 AM, after a long fun chat with Sarah, waking up at 8:45 wasn't greeted with open arms, let me tell you.
And yes, it is official! As of this post, the October 4 post of last weekend's recap, http://www.livejournal.com/users/l_loire/98857.html has won the title of Most Commented LJ Entry in my LJ to date, coming in at 22 comments as of this post--beating my March 8, 2004 entry, which had 20. Nothing like a misguided BJ to get people's attention.
The day was rather a strange day in the Life of Brian. Woke, and went to my two classes. My Essentials of Lit professor was interested in seeing my writing, so I let her have a copy of the prologue of my current story, Dino Crisis: Ibis Island and the Third Energy for her to read. After my classes, onto breakfast, and got my mail--the college has sent me a revised bill. I find that after loans, I still owe MCLA a little over $4,000 for the semester. So, I looked to see what I could get as private loans. Most of them I require a credit-worthy co-signer. Of course, it sounds easy--but when almost NO ONE in your family has good credit...that makes it a bit harder. However, one loophole--to have the loan signed out under me solely, I need to be working for 2 years with the same employer, and still be currently working under them. My solution--McD. Now, I actually hope that I get the job at McD here in North Adams. Once I begin working there, I can fill out the loan app and have the loan strictly under me. If that fails, I will start to panic. Again. Like I did in NP at the beginnings of both semesters. Right now, I'm not too worried. Yet. Did some gaming, and chatted with the online crew, and April, and got royally annoyed at her. However, life is happy again.
Did some more writing, gaming, etc, etc, until dinner, then chatted with April, and further expressed our dislike for technology. Yankees lost tonight, way to go! (big grin) Oh, this Postseason is gonna be a good one, I can feel it. Probably more so than last year's wild postseason. Because it's the Postseason, time for my short predictions for the League Divisonal Series:
American League Divisional Series: Yankees vs. Twins: Twins win in 5 games. They won tonight, 2-0.
ALDS: Red Sox vs. Angels: Red Sox in 4. They won tonight, 9-3.
National League Divisional Series: Cardinals vs. Dodgers: Cardinals in 4. They won tonight, 8-3.
NLDS: Braves vs. Astros. This is a toughie...but if the Braves have been any indication of Postseason strength...Braves in 5. They begin tomorrow.
Onto the rest of the night! Nighty night, all.
