I like to push the pram a lot.
Tuesday, 5 October 2004 01:54Well, I think the aptly named LJ post, "His nostrils raped and his penis split--all right, that's enough!" shall go down as probably the most controversial LJ entry to date in the history of "A Bit of Wit," garnering almost 20 comments, several IMs about it, instilling of fear in some (poor Chaos) and the removal of myself from two of my friends' LJ's. My March 8th, 2004 entry, "Suddenly, cloning myself seems like a good idea," ranks at #1 with the comments--20 of them posted.
To all of you who read that true Bit of Wit, congrats. I didn't get any hate mail, and I didn't lose all 40 of you off my friends lists. There's something to be said about almost getting "biological paint thinner" all over the genital area (thank you Chaos), but hey, I have no shame or tact.
Just letting all of you know: I am a writer. And this is my LJ. And I can write what I like. You're free to make your own judgements about what I write, but if you're gonna knock me off your friends list, I'd like to know. I don't go in for censorship and refuse to censor my musings to make people happy. With that said, on we go!
Woke around 11 today, and shortly after I got online was the first attacks on the LJ. This went until I ate some food, then came back here for some chat online as people reeled from the LJ entry. Onlining and gaming would continue until my class at 3:30, then back here where I am trying to bring my forum back from the dead. After the FF Character Battle contest, things kind of died. If you wanna join my FF/RE forum:

I did my first paper this semester, this one for my Essentials of Literature class. We begin a new book tomorrow--In the Lake of the Woods, by Tim O'Brien. I look forward to it, actually. The two books I have read by him have been great reads, and I'm not usually one for war stories. But after the paper and gaming, talked to April for a while, then chatted with Sarah for the last hour and a half, and here I am, about set for bed.
I look forward to the birth of Alexia Jenova.
Nighty night, all.
