It was a nail biter to the end, but the Yankees win it in 12, 7 to 6. Series is tied at 1. A great game, but...FECK! At the moment the game ended, Xavi let out a wail of despair, J.P. let out a roar of triumph, and I just sighed and sank my head into my pillow. Oh, well. Just a game. Although I can picture Ryan leering, a mad scientist smile accompanied by screaming right about now. Also at game's end, Ben called just to laugh at me. Don't ya love friends?

And I reiterate on behalf of April, Wyatt: those things have a shelf life. USE THEM!

Woke at 9 from my phone, someone calling for Brandon, who doesn't live here anymore. Went back to sleep, and didn't wake until 12. After snarfing food, back here where I wrote my paper for Modern World. However, my brain didn't remember the fact that the date was changed--it's due the 18th, rather than the 4th (2 days ago). So now I have a finished paper. One less thing off my shoulders. Briefly was on the computer until dinner, then onto my first Computing and Communication exam.

Now, as I said in earlier entries, Computing and Communication is a course designed to teach people how to use Windows XP, Office XP, and the Internet. This is required of all English majors. And so, the exam consisted of 3 parts:

1) Definition of 10 computer related words like modem, software, ROM, TCP/IP, etc.
2) Prentice Hall's exam, with questions like: "without resizing the window, drag the window to the center of the screen." "Copy this document and make a shortcut on the desktop." "Change the items on the 'My Computer' screen so that you are looking at it in "thumbnails" view." "Access 'My Computer' using the Start Menu." 14 questions like this.
3) Internet Use.

I was the first person to leave, 20 minutes into the exam. I smoked the damned thing. Remember, MCLA says this a required course! So after the excruciating exam, back here where I chatted with April and made her feel better. Watched the game, showered, talked with April on the phone for a while, and now she's sleeping. Now I watch the Red Sox game, and chatted with Sarah, and made her feel better. (hugs both April and Sarah)

I'm probably not heading to bed until the game is over. And now the rest of the B5 floor heads back from Midnight Football, sponsored by Doug.

Nighty night, all.

EDIT: Boston just won, 8-3. I can now sleep well. Boston takes a 2-0 series lead back to Fenway.

Now, for the definitive final time:

Nighty night, all.
