3-0!!!
Red Sox are within 1 game of winning it all after beating the Cardinals tonight, 4-1. I actually get to see the last hour or so of tomorrow's game, so I hope to see the Red Sox do what they haven't done in 86 years...win the World Series. Naturally, I'm overcome with giddiness.
Anyway...went to bed around 2 last night, and woke at 8:45...yay, morning classes. Snarfed on some food, and did a couple hours of gaming, as I get closer to the end of FF5, and then walked to work today...just felt like it. It's been a while since I've walked by myself, and I thoroughly enjoyed the autumnal air--the smell of dying leaves, the fading foliage, the fall chill...it can do amazing things. Worked from 5 to midnight, and it was pretty slow. From around 8:30 on, we kept getting calls from a couple of employees giving us updates on the game, and about 15 minutes before midnight, we got the call that the Sox won, so I left grinning. Now, I'm here, relaxing for the night. I'll probably be up for a few hours yet, considering that I have a 3:30 class tomorrow.
Tomorrow's things of import: an essay to write, hoping my emails are replied to, class, work, getting food, possibly laundry.
I was just notified that there's an excellent chance that my roomie's wife will be up this weekend...(evil grin)
Now, relaxing. Nighty night, all.
