Everything has its season...

And thus we begin the 4 day weekend here at campus. After my classes ended for the day, I got back to find that my roomie Nick had begun the moving out process, heading over to Shango Hall. Now, is it me, or does Shango sound like a dirty word? Maybe my mind is in the sewer again. After lunch, I headed into town with Wyatt/Michelle, and Nick (friend, not roomie). We headed to Blockbuster, and I thought Nick was like a little kid as he made his way through the video games. Then we made our way to the Ames shopping plaza to GameStop, and to the C-U Mart, where I convinced Wyatt to buy my suggestion of chocolate for his lovey. I knew she'd love it. Then I did something I thought I would never have to do again--apply to McDonalds for a job. It had come down to the point where all my favorable jobs got filled rather quick, leaving slim pickings. Since I have 2 years McD experience under me, I filled out the application, and I was practically hired on the spot, for I go for interview/orientation this Tuesday afternoon. I can only hope the NP McDonalds will pay me more than what I ended with at the Ramapo McDs, for I am a poor college student and am in desperate need of funds. The plus: it's familiar work, something I already know how to do.

Back to Esopus, I brought my GC to Nick's for a SSBM fest. Always loads of fun. Later Dave, Catie, Kat, and Adam showed up, and proceeded to dye their hair black. I walked in on a half naked Catie and Kat. A pleasant surprise, to say the least. Then to Wyatt's for some music making until the other half came. Not too long after, I left and did some reshuffling of the room now that roomie Nick is gone. And so, I talk to Carolyn, the only person on my buddy list who is NOT away. Everyone else is out partying or home. (Sigh...) It's 1:12 AM...soon bed will look very good.
