It was a drive-by egging!
Saturday, 1 November 2003 02:37Wow...I haven't been up this late since the beginning of the semester. Caffeine and sugar went a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way tonight, kiddies. So...away we go.
Class was boring enough, and so after that I went for my 8 hour torture session in Purgatory, which I've come to know as the New Paltz McDs. Today must have been the longest 8 hour shift of my life--after 4 hours, it felt like I was ready to go home. It was dark enough--felt like 9 PM. But no...so during my break, I went to GameStop and applied again. Around 7 or so, the day was made a little more bearable by the entrance of Catie, Dave, Nick, Brian (Bright Eyes), Michelle/Wyatt, and later Kat. Shortly after they left, Dan had finally come down to New Paltz and stopped at McDs, YAY! Hopefully all goes well, and I get to hang out with him tomorrow. In the last hour of my shift, Catie had pointed out that someone egged one of the windows. I had quite a chuckle at that, seeing the giant egg splat on the window. See, if it was me, I wouldn't have hurled just one egg--I probably would have hurled 4 dozen. If I can fuck McDs over, I will. However, this person had the foolish thought to go through Drive-thru and order food. He was caught, and from there, I don't know what happened. On the way home, I noticed so many broken eggs on the sidewalk, the ground littered with little shards of eggshell, the runny yolk and albumin accompanying them. At Convenient, there were some police activity as they nabbed a few trouble makers, confiscating a few dozen eggs in the process. Back at Deyo, took a little breather, cleaned up, and went dorm-hopping to Esopus.
In Dave's room, I was back with the friends above, and we watched some comedy while Dave was installing his latest prize, the MMORPG Final Fantasy 11. I had to say, when I first heard that an FF game was online, I was disappointed. Not only do you have to pay the $50 to buy the game, but then pay $13 a month to play. I'd rather buy a console game once and own it, play it, beat it. Which is why I am looking forward to FFX-2, released December 2nd. Bwahaha. Out of boredom, Catie, Wyatt, and myself play Egyptian Rat Screw, using the most wanted Iraqi card deck. After Catie won the first game, I walloped her ass in the next. Kat joined in for one, then we decided to quit, heading back to Dave's room, now with a trying-to-sleep-but-failing-miserably-because-of-too-many-people-in-the-room Nick. Not too long later, I decided to take my leave. It's 3 AM, for crying out loud. I hope you all had a great Halloween. Rach, I want pics of your Halloween exploits, lol.
It's November 1st now, and all I have to say is...18 days until my 18th! HA!
Sweet dreams.
