As Mondays go, this was ok. God, in his wild sense of humor, decided to turn up the heat as the mercury neared 80. This is November, ladies and gentlemen. It isn't supposed to be 80 in November--look at the bare trees out. That should be proof enough. Yes, the peak of the fall foliage here have come and gone. Trees are becoming bare here. Luckily, some of the last vestiges are still present, for the weeping willows have started to change, their long green tendrils becoming yellow. Tannic acid content will rise in the Gunk as oak leaves begin to decompose.

I got a B+ on my Ben Franklin paper in History! Not bad for leaving the 6-page composition to the last day. HA! After that, I proceeded to take a small nap after a brief chat with Annie. About 4 hours later, had lunch, then chatted with Annie some more. Headed to Spanish, and after that, I read Carolyn's 4th email from Ithaca. It appears the NaNoWriMo contest is catching on here. A couple of hours after I find out Carolyn has signed up, 2 of my friends do, and in doing so, I do also. The object is to write a 50,000 word novel by midnight, ending November 30. I decided to do a Resident Evil fanfic, writing about Claire's botched trip to Paris in the 3 month span between the end of RE2 and RE: Code Veronica.

Out of 50,000 words, I have 1,115. Only 48,885 remain!

Talked with Rach tonight. Poor Rach, being the victim of indirect foreplay as she heard her roomie having some fun with a girl in the room next to her. Remember, Rach--next time they are overly loud, barge in on them and ask for them to keep the volume down, lol! If you need some fun, you have my 1-845 number at your disposal.

Hey, all you stargazers! Some news for those who want to see the brilliance of the night sky:

Saturday, November 8, we will have a total lunar eclipse, going from about 7 PM-10PM.
Tuesday, November 18, we will have the Leonid Meteor Shower starting from close to midnight, but the peak will be around 3 AM. Unfortunately, since the Moon and Jupiter will be in the constellation of Leo where the meteor shower takes place, we will only be able to see the brighter meteors as they fly across the sky.

Time to sleep and pleasure myself. Nighty night.
