And the snow arrives...better late than never.
Saturday, 6 December 2003 00:31Total snow accumulations for this first winter storm--anywhere from 3 inches to 18. Reports were all over the place. I don't care. It's snowing now. I love the fluffy white stuff--and I don't mean dandruff. Anyway, after my first two classes, I went to breakfast with Nick, after which I shared a sick birthday IM with Kate before going to work. When I arrived, fifteen minutes later, the manager on the floor told me that my dark gray and blue sneakers weren't acceptable and was told to go back to my dorm to get my black shoes. I don't own work shoes. The only black shoes are the shoes I wear for concert/performance. I said this, but all I got was a basic "tough shit," and was given a ride back to my dorm to get them. Not only did they have the audacity and the nerve to send me back so I could work in CONCERT SHOES, but I wasn't paid for that time. Fuckers. I leave there in two weeks, so up your ass. Around 5:30, Nick came and I left, and we went back to the campus. He would go back to his dorm, and then me to Hasbrouck. You know its sad when I prefer Hasbrouck food to McD's any day of the week.
Back to my dorm, talked to Bree. No Rach. She wasn't on today. I also played FFX-2 for a couple hours. I did laundry, and while doing so, I was told once again that people fucking suck. Here I was, waiting patiently for someone to take their clothes out of their dryers so I could put my clothes in. Not too long later, I come back, find 3 dryers free, and put my clothes in the dryer and leave. I come back to see how much time is left, and I find all 3 dryer loads of my clothes out on top of the dryers, all because some impatient asshole was in an apparent rush to use the dryers. Needless to say, I was pissed--some of my clothes were still quite wet. Arrgh. Now they're hanging in my room to dry. Now I relax, watching TV, ready for the snow-filled weekend. The storm continues.
Nighty night, all.
