Woke up to...silence. Not a sound in the house could be heard...save for the low volume of the TV. Yes...the children have gone back to school at long last! YES! Oh, the joy between Jamie, Rob, and I was so much! Ahh...so what did I do on this fine day, this blissful, peaceful day? Started off with an old PS1 game, Silent Hill. When I left for home, I was almost done with the game. Today, I finally beat Samael, Alyssa, and solved the confusing story surrounding a young girl named Cheryl Mason. A good game, making me want to get Silent Hill 2 and 3, which I hope to be good games. After that, I finally, after over a month of break, I resumed Chapter 14 of At the Heart of the Matter, my Resident Evil novel which began in November with the NaNoWriMo contest. The blissful quiet allowed me to get 2 1/2 pages more, bringing the total to 106 pages. I intend to write some more after I get offline tonight. The children came home from school, and I loafed. Bob and David came home, and I helped with dinner, a delicious kale soup. After dinner, loafed some more, then helped Jim in Wind Waker.
Around 10 or so, a familiar person called, a person who I hadn't spoke to in a while...Rach! YAY! I retired to the basement where I spent the next hour talking to her...so glad to hear her voice. During the chat, my parents went to bed, and the call had to be cut short (tear), but a good time was had by both. We make each other happy. Now I sit here, writing, and most people are away right now, which means I will retire to my story, then go to bed. Nighty night, Rach. Pleasant dreams, everyone.
