Didn't feel like posting last night...after getting off the phone with Rach, I decided bed was in order. So, away we go, with yesterday's recap, involving me and the General.

The college was placed under a delayed opening due to the wonderful fluffy snow that hit this plot of earth. Classes opened at 10:30, but since I didn't know how the delayed opening schedule worked, I went to my 10:00 class at 10:30 to see if it was canceled, and sure enough, it was. So, back to my dorm, admiring the sights of it all. For the morning, it was pretty much silent, a gray day. Snow lined the trees, making it look very Christmaslike indeed. In my dorm, it was a day of watching the Australian Open, and I finally began to write Sarah's lemon, entitled The Sacred Geometry of Chance. I got about two pages in, and various things sidetracked me, and the Great General paid me several visits. Lunch ended up lonely until Liam made his presence known, and then back to my dorm for some more interesting fun, including Xenosaga and the like. Later on in the evening, I was "heralded" to dinner by Warrior King Julio (as he calls himself), and there met up with Dave, Catie, Kat, Wyatt/Michelle, and later Wendy and tall Brian. However, it was DJ night at Hasbrouck, and Wyatt, in his infinite wisdom, sat us in front of a HUGE speaker setup. Then they turned the speakers on...and it felt like eating inside a vibrator. One side of Hasbrouck seemed to vibrate and throb, much like a penis. I wouldn't have minded it so much if they played anything other than rap. I hate rap all together, and I've come to the conclusion that rap does not fit the definition of music. Music is harmonious, melodic, and pleasant. Rap is just...noise. So we moved out of the line of fire, but it didn't help much...with the bass set to overkill, my ass was still vibrating across the seat. After dinner, I headed back to my dorm, and you could hear Hasbrouck shaking outside...jeez. With the blaring rap matching the resonant frequency of the outer walls, I wouldn't have been surprised if it loosened a few screws. Had I been DJ, it would have been a crazy mix, ranging from classic rock to classical, with almost everything in between, maybe with a little goth thrown in. Wow.

Nick came over for a SSBM fest, the usual fun with Bob-ombs flying, mines exploding, and paper fans beating the shit out of everyone. Wyatt came over to join the hijinks and a good time was had by all. After everyone left, it was back to the Aus and writing, until graced by a call from Rach, to which we spent the next 2 1/2 hours, finally ending a little after 1 AM...if I didn't have class at 10, it would have gone for longer. It was fun. Thus ended the night, ending on a great, climactic note.

And the cult of KBH is growing! We're online now, and it is slowly taking over the campus like the T-Virus. And the LJ craze is spreading like wildfire, with [livejournal.com profile] guardian_priest and [livejournal.com profile] always_dragon joining the pack. The friends list grows, bwahaha!

So the Court Jester has spoken. Narf.
