Unusually quiet for a Monday.
Tuesday, 3 February 2004 00:44The joys of not having any Monday classes...no Monday anxiety, sleep in...love it. However, I pay for it dearly by landing 4 classes on Tuesdays and Thursday, but that was the catch. There is always a catch. Anyway, after waking, took attempt #1 of 2 to try to beat the final boss of Xenosaga, and ended up failing miserably. Afterwards, brunch with Michelle, then back to my dorm for a little writing, a little gaming, and talking to Sarah for a little. Was summoned to dinner by Michelle/Wyatt, where Julio gave me a thousand hails. Back to my shag pad (yeah, right) after, I took attempt 2 at the final boss, and after knocking off about 10,000 HP, having about 4,000 left, the thing busts out its "kill party" move. Pissed? Yep. Nick came over for a SSBM fest, and it came down to 3 lives in the feature event, the 99-life Super Sudden Death. He won, but it was a nail-biter to the end. He left, I showered, and it's been quiet since. Tomorrow, 4 classes starting at 10 AM. It's been quiet...Rach-less for the last two days, but she wasn't feeling well, so hopefully she's on the mend. Other than that...no other news to report from Lake Wobegon.
Nighty night, all.
