Yesterday began the academic hell week, the crunch time of the semester for me. All the transfer applications are in, the taxes are done, and now I have the FAFSA to worry about. Monday night, I began work on my research paper, only to find out this morning that my Comp teacher decided to extend the due date by 1 week. (insert smiley here) That will help to space out the pending obligatory shit that will take me straight to May 12. Anyway, yesterday in the Life of Brian...

Before I continue, this post is coming to you live from the 2nd floor of the SUB, where I type this on my Palm Pilot, on the new PocketLJ client I downloaded for the Palm OS. (grins) Just thought I'd let you know. :)

I was amazed at how my body adapted back to its normal sleep schedule after over a week of uber-late nights, a couple of all nighters, and phone chats till dawn. You would think I'd be bugging out in sanity effects, but they've been kept to a minimum. Went to my first class, where we had a guest lecturer talking about American musical theatre...not with a strap-on, I'm sorry. Had a couple hours to myself, so onto lunch, then onto the final chapter of Eternal Darkness...soon the final showdown with Pious (again), Chattur'gha and Ulayoth. Chorus rehearsal was in Studley theater yesterday, and so I enjoyed the pouring rain on the way to choir, wishing that someone could accompany me the torrential rain...(smiles)

Bio would beckon me in the evening, and this time I wasn't the one caught sleeping, as the girl behind me was totally out, sleeping in her open textbook. I kept dozing off and snapping back awake, but I left happy--pulling a 79 on my 2nd test, almost 20 points higher. Was I happy? Very. The rest of the night went to Sarah, making her happy. If anything is my lot in life, I want to make people happy...to cheer them up when they're down, to just be there...to be a good listener...to be someone to cry on, and in turn, offering counsel. It's something I've always done, and something I will continue to do. Anyone that needs an ear, the door's open. Even though I didn't go to bed until 3 AM, making her feel much better made my night.

Well, now I have the rest of my day to do whatever, and it's time to head back to my dorm. I must bring this post from the SUB to a close. Have a good day, everyone.
