Huh? What was that noise?

I never understood that concept. You're in a room filled with the best in computing technology, monitors as high as you can see, the complexities of the Umbrella lab all around, not to mention denizens of carniverous carrion desiring the hot, crimson blood coursing through your veins, wanting the sweet liquid to feast on as Birkin's viral creation runs rampant through the city--and yet, in the midst of the fray and the nightmare, in this room of advanced technology, lies an old, ancient typewriter? What is it there for? To write a novel? I could see it now...as the zombies bang on those doors, one furiously typing, "it was a dark and stormy night..."

I spent some of the day yesterday in Raccoon City, fighting to survive. Great game so far, that Outbreak, loaded with some great FMV. After my only class yesterday, it was lunch for an hour and a half, then some work and Outbreak. A lazy day, while watching Kingdom Hearts win yesterday's preliminary round in the Best. Game. Ever. contest, just edging past Soul Caliber, winning by about 1200 votes. Was on the phone with Sarah in the evening, and I had my first glimpse into the Alexia persona...(quivers with fear) I still went to bed happy and comfy, as is my usual custom. I'm gonna miss my privacy and aloneness when the semester ends...

Today, a beautiful day, and I finished my oral presentation. Wyatt is intent on raiding my room to plunge into Outbreak...maybe I'll have to keep him at bay. You know something's wrong when the devout Christian starts saying, "zombie, zombie, zombie, zombie, zombie, zombie, zombie, zombie, zombie, zombie, zombie, shotgun, shotgun!" and repeats himself. Jeez...and I only showed him the first 30 minutes of Outbreak...if he thought the opening FMV was amazing, then he's gonna orgasm when he sees the upcoming stuff. 2 more classes remain today, and I hope I nail this Bio test. Wish me luck.
