Ah, yes...this would be the LJ post I like to call the weekend recap, since I didn't do any updating over the weekend. So, let's just plunge right in, shall we? See what's going on in this brain of mine? Sure! Come along for the ride.
Saturday--after waking up some time between 2 and 3 PM, it was work at 5 to 1, where I didn't get out of work until 1:30 AM. During this shift, something amazing happened--I told my conscience to fuck off. The "island unto herself" wanted me to work today (Monday) for some hours because someone couldn't make it. My conscience said yes, and it's very hard to overturn its decision, so I told her I could. Then, not too long after it, that little evil me said, "Brian, what the fuck are you doing saying you can work on your only day off from everything?" That was enough to overturn my decision to work, and then was asked if I could close on Thursday, which I immediately turned down--3 classes plus work? HA! Right. Sure. Other than that, it was a very warm day, meaning many ladies took the twins for a walk. And so, back in my dorm, didn't go to bed until 7 AM, talking about hilarious bad voice acting and other related stuff.
Sunday--woke shortly after 2 after getting a phone call around 1 from the resident Vash. Shortly after I woke, I invited him over for another round of zombies as we plunged into Outbreak once more, beating the second scenario. This took us till around 4, where I had breakfast, then got all nicey-nice for the performance. When I arrived at Studley, out at the Old Main quad, there was the Rock Against Racism/NORML event going on, and a group of protesters in support of legalizing medicinal marijuana. Concert went very well--it was a wonderful night of classical and choral music. Such a wonderul night for a concert, there wasn't a cloud in the ceiling (thank you, Peter Shickele a.k.a. P.D.Q. Bach). Around concert's end, I saw April at the Quad, and we chatted for an hour or so, laughing it up, till we went back to her dorm for a bit for more chat. Leaving her to her paper and me to my growling stomach, got some Oscar's and settled in for the night, being online with 5 or so convos up, and thanks to Trav for showing us where to get all those wonderful old RE cut scenes and movies! Seeing them all again for all their horrible voice acting cracks me up. Finally went to bed around 4 or so, and that does it.
Woot, I say. What will I do today? No idea. Have a good one, all.
