Tuesday, 6 July 2004 13:33Hope you all had a fun 4th, everyone! Now that my laptop is running, I am pretty much back to my former station, this time equipped with AIM, Yahoo, and MSN.

The 4th was a good day for me. Everyone's schedules got screwed at work for the 4th, myself being scheduled to 9 PM...when the store closed at 6. So I left at 6, and went to Minaut Beach in Falmouth for some fishing, and to see the fireworks. While fishing, I ended up slipping on a rock and cutting my toe up pretty badly. Salt water made it sting. A lot. But, I lived, apparently. The ocean became a parking lot as many people who owned small craft wanted a better view of the pyrotechnics taking place off a barge out on the ocean. Fun times.
Yesterday, work was manic. As I had thought, I got pulled into the Photo Lab because they got swamped. After I got back, I played with my laptop, installing more programs, and doing my FF updates. Speaking of FF contest, go vote! http://nemiseph.suddenlaunch2.com and http://tiduskingdom.suddenlaunch.com . I went to bed shortly after 4 AM, only to be woken up by Rob blaring Marilyn Manson at 11. Oi. Today and tomorrow are my days off, so we'll see what we can do. Anyway, playing with laptop continues. I have yet to test the Webcam out.

EDIT: Crisis solved. We had just sprung a leak...apparently the washing machine overflowed, and a waterfall occured in my basement (i.e. my bedroom). That's now taken care of.
