You know...the Columbus Day weekend was a busy one--2 days of McHell in the books, today wasn't that bad of a shift. I worked alongside one of the managers for 5 hours in the grill today, and he said he was very impressed with me, and looks forward to the next time he works with me. Brownie points for Brian!!! Today, I encountered it--every workplace I've been to has one--the one tightass employee, who's only to eager to do their job, and takes pleasure in telling others what to do. She instructed me around like I was a total idiot, like I was totally inept and new to this. (snicker) 3 years of McWork...and I've noticed something--McD has changed quite a bit since I last worked at one last May. McD serves Powerade? And chocolate milk? When did this shit start? But yes, now McD has Powerade. Ours, thankfully, doesn't do that silly adult Happy Meal bullshit...otherwise they'd have a volume of jokes from my end.

And that was my day. I got back, showered, did laundry, and was on the phone with April for almost 2 hours. Now I'm here, waiting for my laundry to finish drying. After that, bed. I have two classes, then work 3-11. Also tomorrow I have to fill out that loan app. (crosses fingers)

The Astros beat the Braves in a 12-3 rout, and now the LCS matchups are set. I got 2 of the 4 LDS predictions right...but now, my predictions for the LCS.

ALCS: Yankees vs. Red Sox--this'll be a nail biter from the first pitch to the last out. I'm expecting it to go the full 7 games, anything less than 6 will be a shocker to everyone. Prediction: Red Sox in 7.

NLCS: Astros vs. Cardinals. The Cardinals with their 100-win season vs. the Astros, a surging team. Prediction: Cardinals in 6.
