How many drummers does it take to put in a conga?
Friday, 7 January 2005 01:22First, some silly fun.
Silliness out of the way, on to the day.
Didn't get woken up today by Bob. When he came back, I noticed he was deeply stressed. And I found out why. Last night, when he called, and asked what I was doing. I said that "I'm down here with David and Rob being silly." He said, "oh. So I'm the nigger of the house now. I see." This threw me off a bit, and I passed it off. However, I come to find out today that he misintepreted what I said. He thought that David was down here in the basement with Rob and I being silly. Bob never comes down here to hang, and so he felt left out and jealous. In fact, we were in the living room. (sigh) Not to mention that "Grandma the Matriarch" is starting to get to everyone. Look at this, people! I come home and get plunged right into the madness, woot! I should just become a drunk while I still can, before the drama swallows me up, too.
Don't worry, I'm not becoming a drunk. I am thirsty, though...we've got no grog in this house. Or any soda for that matter. I'll have to buy some and stockpile it here. Hidden. Away from everyone.
My plans to get my pee inspected got nixed when Grandma decided not to head out due to the roads being bad, she claimed. Yet, Bob said they were fine. Hmm...possible hangover from last night, maybe?
I need my pee checked, damn it! Otherwise I can't work! So, tomorrow. It'll be sunny, and I'm going to give Wal-Mart my urine!
With that said, I called Sarah up to remind her to go to the post office so she can mail my belated gift, Sephiroth figures. YAY! Talked to April for a bit and got that mess straightened out. Turns out that she was having YIM difficulties...I was online, but her YIM didn't see it. Technology hates her. So, we chatted while she swam in beef, and more drama happened, this time with Sarah, then Jim. It's becoming routine. Bob went to work, Rob came home, and I went to Heather's concert tonight. She played well, but I really enjoyed the Jazz Band. Lisa, I come to find out, has NO music appreciation. After Heather's group performed, she was set to leave. However, I told her that we were NOT leaving in the middle of a concert. She was bored the whole way through. A good concert, overall. Got back, and have been on the computer since, chatting to Nick, Ben, Cilla, and Bree at the moment.
8 days until all VGV brackets have to be in. I've got 7! I need 13 more!
Bedtime soon.
Nighty night, all.
