In the meantime, much has happened. Not last night, but the night before, I was up with Sarah till 4 AM, discussing serious stuff, and working things out in her mind. Hopefully, I did some good. :)
My pee passed inspection, so I was officially rehired on Friday. Got my vest, and was all set to go for today, my first day back. More on that later.
Last night, had a serious chat with April, which started out ugly...but by night's end, she was crying happy tears, and we were both quite giddy and happy.
Today was my first day back at Wal-Mart, back in the Wireless center. I work with two new faces, Lila and Tiffany...and I'm outnumbered this time: 2 females to 1 male. Last summer, it was Robert, Robbie, and I who started the Wireless center. Since then, Robert's moved to being the department manager of Jewelry, Robbie's been fired, and I am the only original one still in the Wireless center, back again. My arrival today prompted many hugs from many familiar people, most notably Michelle (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
crystal_okamino) who hugged me, and expressed that she's missed me a lot. So, today was a happy day. However, there was one crazy, hyper girl who was missing from the fun...Alyssa. Mostly refamilarized myself with the goings-on in the Wireless center. The only real big change that happened during my tenure at MCLA was that Wal-Mart now sells Nextel phones and plans (giving us now Cingular, Sprint, and Nextel), of which I began absorbing that info today. More so in the coming days.
And my god, it was a wonderful feeling to get out of that house. Knowing that I'll be doing it 5 days out of 7, 45 hours a week, brings me no end of joy.
I came home, and talked with April on the phone, then online, and 7 more IMs happened. Between running Trillian, the internet, and checking brackets that THOSE PROCRASTINATORS GAVE ME AT THE LAST SECOND (you know who you are) for correctness, I'm surprised my CPU didn't die. I'm surprised I didn't get one of these:
As for my contest, the Video Game Villains Character Battle contest...out of the 22 interested signups, 16 entered. That's excellent. That's more than I thought. Contest begins the 17th, at midnight.
