Two twists, turn, done. Done. DONE!
Monday, 31 January 2005 01:01First, the obligatory silliness:
Had a wonderful dream last night...I was in the lounge in Scudder Hall by April's dorm, playing a guitar and singing for a small audience...April, Heather, Gamal, Jedi, Wyatt, Ben, Tom, Jill. As this little informal thing went on, more and more people began to come in to listen to me sing and play. Soon after, people from my old hometown of Ramapo started coming in--Dan H, Dan D, Carolyn, Kristen, Alex, C-Los...Sarah also came to hear me, and by now, the lounge was pretty full. So I performed, and at the end of it, I got an ovation...Sarah came up, gave me a huge hug, and then April gave me a big kiss, and my alarm went off.
I want a guitar in my hand. NOW.
But...I went to work instead, where it was quite busy. I guess the 45 degree weather made everyone think it was summer or something--they actually needed my help in Photo today. The printer got a jam, and I ended up swimming in photo chemicals. Yay for latex gloves, a HUGE apron and goggles.
Yes, I said latex. Go ahead. Chuckle. Guffaw. You know you want to.
And no, I wasn't wearing condoms on my hands. That's a waste of good latex.
Leigh, since she's pregnant, moved from Photo to Wireless...can't have her playing with the chemicals now, can we?
Hmm...I've had this stupid neck pain all day, and it's pissing me off...
Got home, and Rob and I watched Resident Evil: Apocolypse, which I had my doubts...but, I liked it. Many, many times better than the first movie--there were a lot of elements from the game Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, including Nemesis himself, and also a very, very hot Jill Valentine. Many of the important plot points from RE3 were present, and the Ashford name got thrown in for good measure. After that, Sarah came online, and we chatted and webcammed. Talked to April on my cell for an hour and a half, until she felt sleepy and went to bed. I've been here ever since. I work 12-9 tomorrow...and will probably head to bed soon.
Nighty night, all.
