Unov the 3rd.
Sunday, 3 April 2005 09:58Now I remember why I don't like the spring part of Daylight Savings Time...yay 6 hours of sleep! I've woken up tired, a nice sign that Brian didn't get enough sleep.
On a better note, reserved the hotel for the Phantom weekend, and observed something that hadn't been done in years: last night, Bob played a board game. Mom, Heather, Bob and I played Scrabble, the only board game Bob will play.
Brian: Word and letter bonuses are only used once. Can't use them again once they've been used.
Bob (to Mom and Heather): I don't like the way he plays.
Heather: You mean, by the rules?
Brian: (laughs hysterically)
Sometimes, Heather, you can get a good one in.
Also, another thing happened that hasn't been done in years--I bought baseball cards. Yes, even after 14 years, I'm still collecting them. I dug my baseball cards from the bottom of a plastic bin in the basement, and I want to see how much they're worth...I'll need the yearly edition of the Beckett Baseball Card price guide--the big, ugly hardcover book that gets released once a year.
Meanwhile, house remains quiet since David and family have gone for the weekend. And today is day 6 of straight Wal-Mart. I am off tomorrow, work Tuesday, off Wednesday, then another 6-day run will begin. Scott said that could happen as a result of me taking the upcoming weekends. No problem.
In other news, 12 days until I see April again.
Now, I wonder who will be the Pope's sucessor...oh, well.
Now, to get ready for work.
