Is it really comparable to jock itch?
Thursday, 7 April 2005 00:22Still using dial-up...I found out why the high-speed is out. SOMEONE forgot to pay the cable bill, and so that is the first thing that goes. So, until someone pays the bill, it will mean much less internet for me until payment is made. Now, I'm online only to update VGV and the LJ.
Today was a very good day...slept until 12, played about 2 hours worth of Soul Calibur 2. My boss called me, asking me to come in so he could give me my 90-day evaluation. So, being a wonderful, beautiful spring day, I walked the 3 miles there, and both Gigi and Scott gave me my evaluation, and it was excellent. I got a 40 cent raise, bringing me from 8.90 to 9.30 an hour. :) Scott asked me if I could work a couple hours so we could set up the AMAZING new camera display in Photo. They got some wonderful, new shiny cameras. So, I was there for 2 hours, and then I left. Hey, 2+ hours more overtime for me. $30 for 2 hours? Yeah, I'll take it. Lila drove me home, and then I had some awesome dinner that Grandma made, and after, gaming.
Rob got a cast for his hand, of which he broke the left ring and pinky fingers when he punched a wall in anger. Stupid, stupid boy...there are other methods of channeling anger than hurting oneself!!! So now he'll spend 5 weeks in a cast. And now it itches like mad. Probably with the same annoyance as if one shaved their pubes and it starts to grow back.
Matilda is once again on speaking terms with me, which is always a good thing. Talked to April tonight...8 more days...did the VGV thing, and now I will do some more gaming. So, an excellent day for me. Oh, wrote some more of the McRant, by the way. When the internet returns, I'll post the new bits. Tomorrow begins another 6-day stretch of Wal-Mart. Now, away I go.
Nighty night, all.
