This isn't food, it's an investment.

I have returned from my last planned NP trip until the summer...by that time, April and I hope to be in an apartment in Kingston. More on that later. Right now, the weekend recap.
Friday consisted of waking early so David could drive me to South Station in Boston. When I woke and was ready around 7:30, David had come down telling me that his job called him in late Thursday night, and he didn't come home until 4:30 AM. Even though he said he'd be ready by 10, I wanted to let him sleep, so I hopped on the 8:10 bus from Falmouth, and away I went. 6:30 came around, saw April at the bus station in NP, and we went back to her room. Heather was gone until Sunday, giving us much alone time. In between getting into her dorm and April's scheduled "nerdular nerdence" (i.e., Star Trek: Enterprise), we had the obligatory "hormonal rush after not seeing each other for an extended period of time" sex, watched Star Trek, proceeded to watch some dancing, then stuffed the face with Oscar's...and the Soul Calibur machine is back in Asspuke...but they reprogrammed it. 1 quarter used to give you 9 credits...now it's a quarter per credit. Wah. Back to her room, and fun ensues.
Saturday consisted of many things, most importantly--April's 21st birthday. April's family came to NP to get us, whereupon I gave them their rare strain of mustard, and we went to see the apartment complex in Kingston. When we sat down with Anna, the leasing agent, she told us that she didn't have anything available, and doubted something would open in May or June. So, we feel a little bummed, and when she goes to show us an apartment we weren't gonna take (too expensive), she remembers that an apartment that we like the floor plan of will open in May. She had the verbal confirmation from the current tenant. Once the written confirmation is in place, our credit application will go through, we'll get a security deposit to be paid, and we shall sign on the dotted line. Almost there. That apartment is just within arms' reach now. We then go to the Wal-Mart Supercenter on the Wal-Compound, explore in there, and as it turns out, because I'm currently employed with Wal-Mart, I can't reapply at another one, so I shall talk to Rich about starting the transfer. We got back to NP, the family left, and I took April to the Guilded Otter for dinner, where she tried a beer and didn't like it. But after we got back to her dorm, around 7 or so...and somewhere in the next 5 hours, I nearly make April pass out from lack of oxygen, but much fun was had.
Sunday contained going to see a performance in the Black Box theater of a student-created production entitled "Polaroid Stories." It was...different. I liked it. It's no musical by any stretch of the imagination, but it was unique. After, April and I headed on a bread run, then Ben, April and I hooked up and went to La Bella for some pizza, and some more company. Ran into Julio, the newest member of TKE, congrats! April picked up some Smirnoff Ice Triple Black, and both Ben and April started to feel sick. We got back, watched some of The Hairy Ape, some extras from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Ben left, and April felt sicker...probably from the combination of alcohol and aspirin, and also the searing heat in her room. She didn't sleep too well.
Monday...well, got up, packed, walked down to the bus station with April, and left. Now I'm home, where I got the Beckett Baseball Card price guide for 2005. Now I wait for the Black Mages CDs.
And now...tired...tomorrow begins 8 days of Wal-Mart. And the kids are home all week...they've got Spring Break. Gah.
Nighty night, all.

You scored as Middle Class. You're content in your position and would prefer a house or a family than a seven figure pay cheque. But you have your moments of weakness when you buy a lottery ticket in the hope of knowing how the rich and famous live.
