Oh, no--not the P.C. line!
Sunday, 15 May 2005 01:08Less than 2 weeks now before I leave here.
In the latest round of inconsideration, I was woken by a Rob and David around 8, 8:30 this morning. I went back to sleep, woke again at 10, had some breakfast, and went to work.
Customer impatience was through the roof today. Every day, there are those handful of customers who no matter how hard you try, will be pissy and rude throughout. Today, EVERYONE seemed to have a rusty pole up their ass. Combine that with the fact that we have no staff in very busy periods, this makes a long, tiring day. But that's a rant for later. Came home, talked to April, was getting annoyed by younger sister, then settled in.
As it turns out, the tickets for the James Taylor concert that I'm going to with April, Bob had purchased already--however, he thought I wasn't going to see James Taylor (I remain slightly doubtful, because, well...I only mentioned it to him 6,000 times), so he didn't purchase them for me. So, in a last ditch effort, I purchased the tickets for April and I to see James Taylor, July 4 at Tanglewood, $54 total, lawn seats. My timing was good--these tickets are nearly sold out. Dan and I continue to plan this trip and soon to finalize the camping arrangements for that weekend.
David and Rob once more got stoned tonight, but thankfully, did it outside this time instead of in my face.
And I have a big urge to turn Jim into the police. He's walking around with new clothes, tons of money, and those stupid, stupid god-ugly awful hats with the rim slightly to one side that's becoming big now...(gags)
One final thing: the list of characters that I shall be using for the summer contest is nearly complete; however, I need 10 more characters. The game/series I'm using will be King of Fighters. However, since there are about 943039732574574334 games in the series, and I haven't played any of them, I need someone who HAS played them to give me a list of the 10 most known, classic characters from that series and let me know. Once I get them, then I shall get to work making the official tournament bracket.
Now, I head to bed. Work tomorrow, 11-8.
