April came home yesterday from Long Island, so yay! Before she came home, she told me that she had a surprise for me, and it was going to require a can of compressed air, because it's filthy. No clue as to what it was. I got home...and inherited my 4th NES.
Yes, THAT NES. The 20-year old, 8-bit, classic grey block. And a bunch of games.
I nearly shit myself.
Apparently, her uncle was going to chuck it, but April took it, and now it's in my posession, along with Paperboy, Duck Hunt, Tetris...I need to hunt down Marble Madness, Contra, Zelda, and Final Fantasy.
And Burgertime.
In other news, there are now 25 hours left until signups for the Female Gamer Battle Contest end. So, if you're still interested, send me a bracket back! There are still 6 or 7 of you who still have outstanding brackets. Between now and midnight tomorrow, if I see you on AIM, MSN, or YIM, I'm hunting you down. The contest begins at 10 PM on Sunday, beginning with the first two battles: Joanna Dark (Perfect Dark) vs. Lian Xing (Syphon Filter); Xelha (Baten Kaitos) vs. Sun Shang Xiang (Dynasty Warriors).
All righty, tired and shagged out. Bed awaits.
