Let the contest begin!
Sunday, 15 January 2006 22:01All right, everyone! It's 10 PM, and the Female Gamer Character Battle Contest has begun!
What you're going to see here are polls corresponding to the battles on the tournament bracket. We go through Round 1 in all 4 divisions, then move onto Round 2, and so on. I will post 2 battles per contest day. The battles you see here are also posted simultaneously on Fantasy World Forum (http://tiduskingdom.suddenlaunch.com). Battles last for 24 hours. At 10 PM tomorrow night, these battles will end, and I tally up the TOTAL VOTES FROM THE LJ POLL AND THE FANTASY WORLD POLL. For more info or clarification, refer to the FAQ I gave you. If you need it, ask and I'll send one to you. Naturally, since the battles are going up in 2 places at once, you can vote in both places, and I encourage it. More votes, the better. To vote on Fantasy World Forum, you will need to be a registered member. The link's above, go do so.
For Round 1, each correct prediction (as per your bracket) will earn you 10 points. If you're wrong, 0.
Enough talking. Let voting commence! We begin with the Midgar Division, Round 1, Battles 1 and 2: Joanna Dark (Perfect Dark) vs. Lian Xing (Syphon Filter); Xelha (Baten Kaitos) vs. Sun Shang Xiang (Dynasty Warriors). Everyone, good luck!
EDIT: After today, these pictures will NOT be this big, so as to take up your whole screen. They'll actually be reduced to a somewhat normal size. I just forgot to do it with these gals.
EDIT to AFOREMENTIONED EDIT: Ok, reduced THESE pics down because they were starting to annoy ME, plus added just brief name text to the pic. Yay photo editing software.
