The devil's in Japan?

Ah, here I am again. Been nearly a week since I last posted, and it was an eventful week, more so than usual.
The week began with April getting her car back from the shop. As it turned out, the radiator was completely shot, and they had to put in a whole new one. So now, the car is well for another few months, at least. April will begin looking for a new used car in the near future. It's a teenager now, and it just broke 100,000 miles yesterday.
Last week, I went to see a doc for the first time in 3 years--last time I had gone was August of 2003, just before going to New Paltz. This is what happens when one has no medical insurance. But, now I do, and I have a clean bill of health. They took some blood, told me that my cholesterol was just a little high, so I need to get back to being active and eating a bit less junk--something I hope to accomplish once we move into our new apartment come August 1.
Overtime is being offered during this current pay week, of which April and I are nabbing. More money always helps.
Yesterday, went to the mall, and nabbed 2 video games--Molf (which is, Mario Golf to you uneducated folk) and Mario Kart: Double Dash. Both of which are very enjoyable. I like games that have so much replay value. I also bought 2 video games this weekend on eBay--the 2 missing from my Resident Evil collection: Resident Evil 2 (PlayStation, not the overpriced GC version) and Resident Evil: Code Veronica X (PS2). Sarah will be proud.
Pics from the 4th of July weekend camping trip were going to be developed this weekend, however, due to the film developer at Wal-Mart being down (due to a busted roller, for you Photo geeks) I only got the 4 pics I'll be entering into the last judging in the local photo contest.
In a week, April and I will be in Orange County, in Washingtonville visiting the other half of my family. April's never met them--she's met my step-family, and 2 of my blood relatives, Mom and Heather. She'll meet the rest of my blood family. It is also here that I hope to nab the free admission for the RenFaire, for the 8 of us involved. Mary, I need to get ahold of you to work out travel arrangements. Dan, is Danielle coming? Oh, and Dan? April has your pop-up key.
Today has been spent entirely loafing. I like. Now, to the GameCube.
