Dies irae, you cocksucker!

It's been an event-less few days since I last updated this LJ o'mine, as work is work. Although, on Monday, I got another of these flash fevers that last 1 day on Monday, left me drained, as has been the case with the last 4 of these flash fevers. When I see the doc in a week and a half, I'll have to bring this up to him again.
In gaming news, I got the latest edition of Game Informer yesterday, and in there I saw a game that immediately shot to the "Must Have NOW" category in my list of games to get (and there are many, mostly old PSone games that I borrowed, started, liked, never finished)--the 3rd and final Xenosaga game, which was released this week. GI gave it an 8.75--now, even though I don't trust or pay any credence to reviews at all (be it for a movie, game, TV show, whatever), I've played the first 2, I now have to see how it ends. This game knocked out the FF7: Dirge of Cerberus game in my list of immediately-wanted games. Also, since I now am planning to get back into writing my Dino Crisis 1 novelization, I've been playing that as well to re-familiarize myself with the plot. It's been nearly a year since I touched it.
In other news, April and I hopefully will be going to the RenFaire again on Labor Day, weather permitting--hopefully this tropical storm that's moving up doesn't hamper the plan. It'd suck. Especially since we have booked and paid for our 1-night stay in a motel in Kingston. It wouldn't be a total loss--we are getting paid for Labor Day...yay state benefits.
Have you ever noticed that the worse music sounds, the more people blare it out their car? I'm waiting to pull up to a red light and hear someone blaring classical music instead of rap shit or death metal or ONLY bass, makes the car sound like a 3000-pound vibrator.
And the 10th volume of MST3K is out. Yay nerdular nerdence.
Ok, I'm done.
