Mighty Mouse is a State peon.
Thursday, 12 October 2006 22:34So, as I sit here nursing a Smirnoff Ice Triple Black, I come to the LJ. It's been a decent couple of days.
Yesterday, chatted with Carolyn, and made the tentative plans to visit her in Ithaca definite. Even though her anime thing is at the end of October, I'm gonna make a trip during the weekend of November 10. Bringing my camera with me. Starting very soon, I'm gonna be taking fall pictures now that the leaves are turning their brilliant colors. And since I'll be on the Cape, Ithaca, and possibly the Berkshires, I'm hoping to get a nice range of pics.
Today, my desktop computer from Annie arrived. All was included except the most important part--the power cord. Doesn't matter, I need to purchase a monitor anyway--that won't be for at least 2 weeks, so no rush there--but amusing nonetheless.
Going to Cape Cod tomorrow night after work, and I'm quite excited. It's been a year since I last saw my family, almost 18 months since I've seen any of my Cape friends, of which I'm hoping to see some of you as well. Also looking forward to King Richard's Faire, if the weather cooperates.
November is going to be a busy month, as it usually is--visiting Carolyn in Ithaca, my 21st birthday, Thanksgiving weekend, Wii launch, and NaNoWriMo. I got the email from NaNo today, the site is open now. However, I look forward to it. It'll mean that I'll have to do a lot of extra writing to buffer for the weekends, but we'll see if I can do it. For those of you who want to take part of NaNo madness: www.nanowrimo.org
SOMEONE FINALLY BOUGHT SOMETHING FROM MY CAFEPRESS STORE! I have a small commission! So, if you'd like:

So, I'll be off to the Cape tomorrow night, won't be online until Sunday or Monday night.
Nighty night, all.
