NOTE: I had a real post earlier today. It'll be the one before this.

So we come to the last 2 battles of Nibelhelm Division, Round 1. Tomorrow night at 7:30 we shall begin the first two battles of the Time Division. Hope you're all enjoying this thus far. Because of the amount of people who have entered, I intend on doing a summary post, just to recap the first division, and give some stats like win-loss records, things like that. Stay tuned. For now, though, I bring you the 15th and 16th battles.

Battle 15: Ness from the SNES classic, EarthBound, going against Jenna from the GBA sequel, Golden Sun 2.

NOTE for VGH players: current battles are in the post before before this.

It's been over a week since a real live post in the ol' LJ, and for good reason. As most of you know or read, I worked a 50-hour workweek last week, taking on an extra 10 hours of voluntary overtime at work by way of working 7:30 AM to 6 PM. There were 2 reasons why I took the insane amount of work: the most important reason is that the funds I will get paid will give me enough for the Wii, Twilight Princess, and some extras. The second was...I'd have no ride to work, because April was going to take the early hours even if I didn't. So, the overtime was half-voluntary. Needless to say, I ended up going to bed by 9:30 every night, and now that the early overtime has ended, I recovered all the lost sleep over the weekend.

So, the week wasn't really that eventful, save for the contest getting underway and Annie coming last weekend. However, this weekend, despite the icky weather, allowed me to play a LOT of Kingdom Hearts 2, and currently, FF12 is on the back while I attempt to finish KH2. Also, yesterday was spent going to the mall and BJ's, and today we shall be going to Mohawk Commons--I'm going to see about getting a book at B&N, and then possibly getting a Betta. The name of the fish will depend on the color--red, white, or black will be Rubedo, Albedo, or Nigredo respectively. Who knows? It may change at the drop of a hat.

In other news, "Dan squared" will be coming this Friday, which is always fun.

So it appears that my cubicle at work will be getting a little bit of a makeover, as I delved into some nerdiness--I gave some more money to the Brothers Chaps and purchased their Ultimate Figurine set--21 figurines of various characters in the Homestar Runner universe, including all of the Cheat Commandos. They'll do nicely around my Betta.

In other news, I'm still awaiting money for the Red Sox Hammer that I sold on eBay 2 weeks ago. While the deadline for payment was last Friday, I'm taking into account holiday weekends and shit. Still, it's getting a bit annoying.

I've also agreed to sell some stuff on eBay for Kat--she needs money, so she wants me to sell her BPAL--anyone interested? That should go up on eBay whenever she sends me all the details: as far as I know, it's a lot of 12 imps, most of them barely used, a couple unused, and 1 5mL bottle of a limited edition smelly thing, barely used. More details on that later.

Edit: No fish today, but setting up my tank to get said fishies. Also, we purchased a new mattress set, because our bed is dead, and I need a new bed to take sexual punishment with. Teehee teehee.

And since today is Martin Luther King Day (and a paid day off for me), I think I should pay some lip service to the holiday--after all, isn't equality among everyone we all want? So I throw some lyrics by a good James Taylor song at you, called "Shed A Little Light."
