Interesting weekend just past, got a bit done in terms of stuff. First off, my LJ has finally moved into the next level--A Bit of Wit 2.0 is underway as it got dragged into the "plus" level. I decided it was time for a new look, and the idea of 15 userpics just really pushed it over the edge. So take a look.
Also, got my winter pics developed from the ice storm and Valentine's Day snowstorm--they're up on Mad Squirrel Photos and on DeviantArt--check those links out and comment away. I also got to try out a new thing last night in terms of photography--photographing a nude subject. And so, April was the guinea pig. After looking at the results, I can safely say that the pics could've come out much better had the lighting been better. I used black and white, but I still not only realize that the flash is extremely powerful, but the lighting conditions in this apartment SUCK.
Played some more FF12 over the weekend, still liking it. And also did some more baseball card appraisal. Saw the first episode of the "new" Doctor Who series, which I enjoyed. Went to Wal-Mart, bought myself a new pair of jeans--April found a couple of Red Sox shirts on clearance, and I couldn't pass up the offer.
April has really been getting into the Wii, which pleases me to no end. Wiimotes finally came back in stock on Amazon, which is where I saw it first. Nothing like free shipping and tax-free stuff. Now April and I can beat the shit out of each other in Wii Sports. Need to get Wii Play and Twilight Princess as well.
Thanks to Ben, I'm going to my first ever MLB game on Good Friday, seeing the Yanks play against Baltimore. While I'm not a fan of the Yanks, Yankee Stadium is a historic place and I wanted to go there at least once before they tear it down and begin building a new stadium. I'll have to go to Fenway in the near future as well.
Also got a headset, so now I can take part in the FW podcasts, as well as do voice chat on YIM and MSN. I also downloaded Skype (search for me by my name or by LLoire) for use in voice chat. Skype me and let's chat. I also downloaded Audacity and am currently playing with that. I am working on an idea to have an official test of that by recording the end-of-round summary post when VGH ends its 2nd round in about 4 days' time.
Work is work, I believe we're gonna have overtime soon. We're about to get flooded in subscription applications for a new Lotto game due to begin the 1st. Oi.
George Carlin just came through Proctor's...I wonder how he did.
All right, off to tweak some more pics before bed.
