VGH, Day 63: Shadow Moses FINAL
Thursday, 15 March 2007 19:42Now, I know that Link was the favorite heading into this, and none of you predicted Mario to win...but still...could you guys have made it a little more interesting? Two of the greatest classic characters in the history of video games go head to head, and Link completely annihilates Mario, completely ass-rapes him, winning by such a large margin that it might as well have been a shutout. I think Mario's votes were simply pity votes. I knew Link was loved--you demonstrated it LOUD AND CLEAR.
And you know what? Many of you are gonna get points here. :) Link has won the Time Division with a resounding 24-2 win over Mario!
Link will face the winner of the Shadow Moses Final, which is going to begin...after these couple of notes:
--Tomorrow I post the last of the Division Finals, and then when that ends on Saturday night (St. Patrick's Day), VGH is taking a 1-day scheduled break--not only do I need to prepare and make the Photoshop images for the Tournament Final, but I may be getting a little inebriated on Saturday night, and would like to have my full wits about me as we're so close to the contest's end. When VGH resumes on Sunday night, I post the 2 battles of the VGH Final. On Monday, the Loser's Match goes up, and on Tuesday, the VGH Championship goes up. Wednesday night it all ends, and we'll be doing a podcast!
