Mickey Mouse to a 3-year old is a 6-foot fucking RAT!
Saturday, 31 March 2007 20:40I must say, this week seemed to have dragged ON AND ON AND FUCKING ON.
The first 3 days of the week were spent working overtime, and after nearly a month of 10-hour days, April and I decided we wanted to take a break and work a normal week or two, for it was now getting to the point where we were running on fumes.
Such a good feeling to recover lost sleep.
Last Thursday, went to the bowling alley for the first time in 2 years and bowled...what a fun feeling it is. With practice, I hope to get back into league play. Not having bowled in two years, muscles I forgot I had made themselves known the next day, and my left hamstring was feeling a bit sore. Still is, a little. Yesterday we went to Albany and saw April's aunt, who came home after spending the winter in Florida. Ryan will be here next Thursday, we're going bowling, and then on Good Friday, I'm going to New Paltz, and Ben, Brie, and myself are going to Yankee Stadium for a ballgame.
Which reminds me, I need more film...
I got yet another game to add to my collection: Wii Play. Early impressions on it: it's fun, but I predict the novelty of the single-player will wear off soon. Better geared toward multi-player play. I've been playing FF2 and 3, and while I'm now in the home stretch of FF2, it must die. This is going to be one of those games that when I complete it, I'll never touch it again. The ONLY reason I'm playing the sorry excuse known as FF2 is purely psychological. If I don't beat it, it will haunt me in my quest to finish every one of the numbered series of FF games (except 11, which doesn't count)...therefore, I must finish it.
So, after 3 weeks, Ben and I have finally begun the Button Mashers LJ Community by finally recording our inaugural podcast. Feel free to join, but more importantly, download the Podcast and give us feedback. A DISCLAIMER: Sound quality is not perfect, for we had some technical issues. However, after recording, we discovered the problem, and it will be rectified the next time I am in a Button Mashers (and Fantasy World, actually) podcast. I am low, but still audible. This is by no means a perfect recording, as it is the first. Regardless, content was what we were going for here.

But I am enjoying the loafing.
Oh, I'm getting an external DVD burner soon. Ok, techies: what do you recommend?
And now, off to some gaming.
