Thursday, 7 June 2007 18:39First off, we have 2 birthdays today, so...a happy birthday to Brie and Sarah! Hope you're enjoying them.
In the news...overtime began AGAIN. I like the extra money, but this is starting to get annoying. WHEN WILL THEY HIRE SOMEONE? They're gonna have to now, anyone--one of the keypunchers is leaving in less than a month, as she has found a job teaching in Ulster County, so a big congrats to her. I have applied for a couple of promotion positions, I've been interviewed for one. April, the same. The work isn't gonna get done any faster with less staff. Oi.
Last Saturday, I began to learn how to drive, and have 2 lessons under me already. Today, I took the car and drove to Wal-Mart with April, during Schenectady's rush hour, and everything passed without incident. Go me. Next lesson is on Saturday.
Heather (April's former roommate from NP), her boy, and a friend came by to visit--apparently, Heather and said boy are looking for a place to live up here, and dropped by, which was nice. Haven't seen them in a couple of years, so...good times.
So, in the opening 4 days of signups, 2 people entered on the first day--it's been stagnant after that. Remember, as long as I have 10 entries, the contest will go on. If not, then the contest gets nixed due to lack of interest. Again, signups end at midnight ET on July 3. To enter, here are some links:
