Generation Seven, Day 1. THE CONTEST BEGINS.

Welcome, one and all, to my 7th character battle contest, the Generation Seven Character Battle contest. For the next 2 and a half months, vote as characters from the 4 major consoles (Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, and Sega) duke it out to see who reigns supreme--old school or new school. A reminder for those competing in the contests: battles are done via polls. I put the poll up, you vote. Battles go on simultaneously here and at Fantasy World Forums, on this specially created G7 battles thread that you will find here. I suggest you bookmark it. Every night, between 7:30 and 8 PM ET, I will close and update with 2 new battles. I tally the total votes from BOTH PLACES, and whoever has the highest total wins and advances. Simple as that.

In the first round (which takes up exactly 50% of the contest), you will earn 25 points for a correct pick, 0 if you are wrong. Any questions at all, please ask.

We begin with the Nintendo Division. Battle 1 involves Mario, the more popular half of the Mario Brothers, going against Peter Pepper, striving to make the perfect burger in the game Burgertime.
