Sunday, 12 July 2009 19:32So we've come down to the last two battles of the second round. Hard to believe that only 16 battles remain before Character Battle 10 comes to an end. Yes--in about two and a half weeks, the contest will end, and we'll have a champion. So far, Round 2 has been interesting, just from a fight for position. While Nilfalasiel has managed to weather the round with 1st place, there's been several people flipping between 2nd and 3rd, trying hard to close the gap and overtake 1st. In a few minutes, I'll see what victories by The Fear and Vamp did--before these, Nil has a 50-point lead. However, while I do that, I'll give you the last couple of battles for the round. Also: I record the Round 2 podcast tomorrow night. Anyone who wants in will need to hop on Skype. Recording begins at 8 PM ET. Remember to vote at Late to the Party when you've finished placing your votes here. Actually, Nil was the only one to get both battles fully correct--she'll be guaranteed to keep 1st tomorrow, for her lead grows to 125.
