a_bit_of_wit_2Got a good sleep...woke up at 11:30 via the phone, someone called about Kaz's Kenjutsu club. Then passed out until shortly after 1. Gamed a bit, and was set to fill out the co-signer part of the loan app (again), when I realized I needed a couple more little pieces of info. I had to wait for my aunt to get home from work so I could get it. So, I had realized that I had an assignment due in my Computing class--a foray with Excel. However, this assignment actually proved to be a little challenging and LONG. 6 problems I had...but they had many parts, and quite a bit of it was quite new to me, so this took me 2-3 hours. I started off in the computer labs, just for the fact that the comps are faster. The first problem took me 1 hour to do, and I didn't know that the labs close at 5 PM on Fridays (which is stupid in itself). So, I had emailed the work to myself, and took it back to my dorm, where Kaz and Emma had arrived. Oh, goodie.
I could tell that my roomie did not expect me back so soon, and he asked me how much work I had, and how long it would take. At this point, I'm thinking, aww, he wants his nookie, but he can't. And this time, I had a logical reason...not because I wanted to be an ass. I had valid schoolwork to hand in before midnight. I'm not gonna let my grade suffer for hormones. After that was done, all of us left...Kaz and Emma went to Kenjutsu, and I wanted real food, now that I had some money. So, under J.P.'s advice, I went to a sub place called Angelina's, and had some yummy chicken parm sub. I'll definitely be back again. Got back, and Kaz/Emma were still out, so I began tonight's writing. They came back, and I filled out the co-signer app, and the result: wait 2-3 business days. (crosses fingers) The two returned, and some jocularity between us was had. Then, I put on my massive headphones, and they proceeded to have an anatomy lesson, of which all I heard was my music. After putting about 1,500 words down, as much as I didn't want to leave, my eyes were fried, and I was running out of creative steam. I needed a break. So, I played pool by myself for about half an hour, and with my energy restored, I continued my writing back here. It was an excellent writing night for me...finished Chapter 2 and posted it, all together adding an additional 3,100 words to my credit, bringing it up to:
9,408/50,000.
More writing, and I have a couple little things to do in town, probably some food shopping. No chat with April tonight, and only briefly with Sarah. Wah. Much IMing was had, and now my fingers, despite having written over 3,000 words today, are starting to scream at me. So, I'll head to bed.
