a_bit_of_wit_2I had two major revelations today, and both of them came while I was at work tonight, oddly enough.
1) Today was the last day of classes. I didn't know this until around 10 or so tonight when someone told me. Which means my Modern World was the last class I will take at MCLA. Sweet!
2) I had thought I had 4 finals, 2 coming on Monday, 2 on Tuesday. I now have 2 finals--1 on Monday, 1 on Tuesday. How did I come to this conclusion? Well, I had my last Computing test (which I ripped a new asshole for) today, and the final for my Essentials of Lit class is a take-home final that's due tomorrow morning. All I do is hand it in, and that's that. The two finals I have: Modern World on Monday, 3:30 to 5:30; Winds Aloft and Squiggly Lines on Tuesday, 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. After finals' end, there will be a Bob (and a possible Rob) in the parking lot ready to help me move shit. When finished, I will say goodbye to MCLA forever...well, the physical campus, anyway. I won't be rid of them forever until I pay that huge balance off.
Anyway, today I had expected to be a hell day--a day where I had planned to knock off the rest of the mass of work all due this week. And I did--and had free time, which was something I wasn't banking on. I thought that only now, after getting out of work, I'd finally relax. But no. The assignment for Computing took me a lot less than I had anticipated, which made all the difference. So, I went to work, and was there until 1 AM. Got back, and talked to April for a little bit. After, I finished the little bit left for my Essentials of Lit project, and now I can relax.
Despite classes' end, I still have to wake at 9, just to hand in my final project to Annie Raskin. I'm debating--depending on how awake I am, I'll either hand it in, then go back to sleep until I have to go to work, or just stay awake and do some more work on my VGV before work.
Ehh, whatever. To those in NP still doing finals, I hope you've been conquering them. I know Julio's taken a Viking warrior stance, and all of you should as well. Yet, I'll be taking finals when you all are home.
Ahh, home...to think, I am actually looking forward to going back to that nuthouse. I know the novelty will wear off, but I can't wait to leave.
