Prologue: Before the Reconstruction.

So, my roommate was a total jackass right to the end.
After I had written this year's Final Note, I had the opportunity to talk to a sick Sarah...she caught a nasty bit of a cold. I had intended to go to bed, however...Kaz woke up and decided to do his packing at 3:30 AM. The noise and subsequent lights kept me from sleeping, and so, I had told him that he should've done it during the day like all of us. However, he didn't take the hint, and so I've been awake since 12 yesterday afternoon. So today, after I take my Weather and Climate final, Kaz's dad arrives, and they pack. However, Kaz left behind a war zone on his side of the room: papers all over, under his bed, empty soda bottles and cans, napkins, moldy popcorn kernels, loose change, ramen flavorings, socks, a glove, a pair of shoes, etc. You could see where his shit ended, the clear deliniation between his side and mine. When Doug came in to inspect, he called his side atrocious, dirty, filthy, and Kaz would get billed for it. So, the following conversation:
Doug: You'll get billed, you know that, right?
Kaz: Yeah, I know...but my dad's rushing me. If I had more time, I would clean up--
Brian: --yeah, if you didn't sleep all day yesterday...
Kaz: I went to bed at 8, fuck you!
Doug: Guys--
Brian: ...and decide to pack at 3:30 in the fuckin' morning so I couldn't sleep.
Kaz: You go to hell!
Doug: (sternly) Guys! Chill out!
With that, Kaz said his byes to Doug, and left. Meanwhile, we all (Doug included) watched out the window and saw Darwin leave for good. When he left our view, cheers erupted, and Doug blared "Happy Happy Joy Joy," and "Tessie" from me, full blast. The scene was totally joyous. Doug and Ian shook my hand, commending me for not killing him, lasting 3 months with the sorry ingrate. So now, he goes home with an excess of $7,000 to be paid to MCLA, and he never did any of the paperwork for withdrawal. Not only that, but he's getting a cleaning bill.
I talked to April for a bit and as I decided to get food, my parents came an hour early, and John helped me pack up. Then, I had my final goodbyes, and we left.
I'm no longer a college student.
Bob and I talked for a while, and we stopped at Old Sturbridge Village to pick up some stuff, Christmas gifts, and we ate at Friendly's. Got back, and have the room to myself for a few days while Rob is in Virginia. I did some unpacking--more will be done tomorrow. Right now, I'm just relaxing...I'm tired. It'll be most likely an early night for me, considering I've been up for nearly 36 hours. Tomorrow's plans and objectives:
--Go to Wal-Mart, buy Dad a gift, re-apply for a job.
--Purchase bus tickets at the bus station for the coming trip to Albany
--Finish (or nearly complete) unpacking
--Wrap gifts (of which I'll hire the Mom for)
Ahh...back home...for the next 6 months. And it all begins now.
Nighty night, all.
