Queer for the Ear.
Friday, 2 July 2004 00:05As I sit here, listening to the sweet sounds of Mary Fahl's voice, I find myself relaxed. A little tired from work, but it's to be expected. And as for my LJ title tonight, don't ask. If you do, I may have to explain. (smirks)
Today began with Rob waking me up not to music this time, but to him talking to his ex-girlfriend. Ehh, it was 10:30, and I needed to drag myself out of bed anyway, so I could go to work. When I arrived at work, I got my paycheck and almost had an orgasm on the spot...before taxes, I had raked almost $700...then the government took $160 out of me, leaving me with around $520. Now did I get to keep all of it? Nope. I got in the car, my stepdad asks me, "how much are you going to give the house?" After some deliberation, I gave $200 to the house, then took the remaining $320 in my possession and deposited it.
Now, in Wal-Mart, I no longer work the 1-hour photo...now I sell cell phones, and it looks like I'll be getting one on my next paycheck. (smiles) Today I spent most of the day learning how to use the new computerized kiosk, so that activation and making new accounts for phones are much quicker than having to call carriers, blah, blah.
Got home, went online, and chatted to April, Bri, Annie, Sputin, now Sarah. Voting closes in 35 minutes, and we shall see who cleans house tonight. Work 12-9 tomorrow. Oh, fun.
Nighty night, all.
