Peace to your side street.
Tuesday, 31 August 2004 11:17Well, suffice to say, Brian's going to go to his last day of work exhausted as all hell. He only got 4 and a half hours of sleep before being woken up by the Bob. Brian's been up since 8:30 this morning after going to bed at 4. Rob, on the other hand, went to bed at the same time I did and got only 3 hours of sleep, since he had a job interview. He's currently sleeping now. I, unfortunately, could not go back to sleep...considering that work is coming soon. Hopefully my 4 and a half hours of sleep will be enough to carry me through a day in which I predict every friggin' religious freak will be there to pick up that "most wonderful religious movie." I wouldn't be surprised if I find out that people stood outside at 7 AM just so they could get the movie at open.
Oh, shit...our wonderful buckets of rain caused by the last of Tropical Storm Hermine hitting us at full speed has caused several huge leaks in the basement...not only do I wake up early, but now I'm being flooded. Brilliant. Back in a few...
Back...now that I've managed to wring out probably 2 gallons of water from those towels, I leave the problem to Rob (who is totally unaware that the basement is leaking), who is sleeping. If more water comes in, it's his turn. And due to the fact that it's coming down in sheets, I have declined the bike to work option, for it's probably quite dangerous to be out there on a bike. So yes, I will be driven, and hopefully I don't feel like shit as a result.
I really, really, can't wait until Saturday! I'm so excited!
Now, off for the last round of work. Have a good one!
