Well, well, well, you happy-go-lucky friends in New Paltz: I slipped right under your nose, as I was involved in a "planned kidnapping," courtesy of April. I had wanted to see James Earl Jones at the Paltz, but as it turned out, I was off by a day, and tickets would cost me an arm and a leg, so no seeing Darth Vader. However, I was in NP for most of yesterday and until 4 this afternoon, and I felt a major longing...a longing of home again, home being NP. I was at Haspuke this afternoon, around 12:30, on Wyatt patrol, and I realized something about it--I knew I didn't miss Asspuke. Before arriving in NP yesterday, we stopped at April's house, the three of us: April, her roommate Heather, and I staying for dinner. Home food is always, always beneficial. Also saw Blue Collar Comedy Tour for the first time...and I ended up in stiches. After leaving rather unceremoniously at 4 this afternoon, we headed back to North Adams, and April will be staying the night here, since when we arrived, she looked very sleepy--and I refused to let a tired April drive the almost 3-hour trip to New Paltz by herself in the dark. Last thing I want is a police officer calling me telling me she's dead. So she'll be heading back tomorrow, with energy to make the trip.
Sarah, if you see RE:A tonight, I want a full review. (grins) Hope it's a good movie. I intend on seeing it very soon.
Oh, and Heather: we're sorry! I left peace offerings on your desk!
Nighty night, all.
