And as God as my witness, I AM that fool!
Tuesday, 21 September 2004 00:23The day? Well, just a day. Another day in the aforementioned Life of Brian. After finding out April returned to NP (after braving the perils of the MassPike and NYS Thruway...and the sheep of Pittsfield), headed to breakfast (a.k.a. normal world's lunch), but first, a trip to the bookstore to see if they had the few remaining textbooks I need, all of them mandatory. Sure enough, they don't have them, and are on order. It's now getting to the point where work is being due out of those textbooks and quizzes coming up as a result of book work that I don't have. However, unlike last semester in NP where I couldn't afford them and the bookstore had plenty, the scenario now reverses: I have plenty of money, but the bookstore has no supply. Um...God? Can you stop fucking with my head? Please?
With that bookstore attempt a dismal failure, something else piqued my interest--the poster sale. Of course, now with some money, I took a look at the posters, and bought three which caught my eye:
--A Dave Matthews Band poster (which now makes 2 to my collection)
--One of those one-word inspirational posters with a pretty scene. The word: "Imagination."
And my personal favorite: the Periodic Table of Sex...58 positions of which'll be attempted.
After heading back to the dorm, I called the places of which I applied for work, and once again, deja vu: not being able to get ahold of a manager--Wal-Mart's manager is on vacation, and the one at Big Y was out to lunch...at 2 PM. Trying again tomorrow, when I go out into town. Class at 3:30, and then back here until dinner, which then followed pool. 3 games played tonight against Ian, myself taking the best 2 out of 3. After that, Doug, Ian, two girls from our floor, and I went to a large field outside Hoosac Hall, where we frisbeed for an hour. Much funness. Settling in for the night, talked with April, did a little more writing of the Dino Crisis fic, and will have Chapter One up on FW and nfiction in the next few days, with any luck.
Grr for 9:30 AM classes, which means I have to go to bed now.
Nighty night, all.
