Yes, it's Monday. You're dreading it, I know. You're all thinking, "What botched sex activity is he gonna write about this week?" Well, perhaps I'll write one, maybe I won't. You'll just have to suffer the drudgery of reading it, or just skip over it.
Thursday: After my class and the joys of the Weather and Climate exam, I had work until 7:30, which meant I'd be home before April arrived, a rare first. When I got back, I talked to my grandma and Rob for a while, then I had to go since April was arriving shortly. No sooner do I put the phone down when April calls my cell, notifying me of her arrival. As soon as I hang up my cell phone, 4 IMs pop up almost simultaneously, and it's like, GAH!!! After putting those to rest, I greeted the April, and when she got back up here, we had a floor meeting which was all right, I guess. Then it was back to my room, where I knew I had to write, but with a naked April in bed, the decision was tough--"April...writing...April...writing..." Writing won, but not without some steeling of will. So I wrote and did laundry while she had a nap, and when that was all done, I woke her, and fun was had. The hour went to midnight, and it was officially the 19th. Happy birthday, me. 17 minutes in, Sarah text messaged me wishing a happy birthday.
Friday: Woke up rather wonderfully, and April and I proceeded to have some morning fun. However, something happened that we didn't expect--my roommate was still in the room. He heard me pounding into her, all of it. And he was pissed. He took me out, into the lounge on the floor, and expressed himself, telling me that he was being kind in leaving the room so we can have fun (yeah, all of 20 minutes), and told me that he would never sign the overnight forms again, which makes it so that April would never be allowed here again. Being silent, I held my tongue. I wanted to punch him in the face. How dare he--I mean, yes, it's somewhat inconsiderate to have sex while the roommate is in the room, but here's the thing--we did not know he was in the room. I knew he had class during that time, so I expected (rather foolishly, since he usually sleeps through) that he'd be in class. And he could have alerted us to his presence rather than let us continue. So, my 19th birthday has started out with me wanting to kill someone. April wasn't happy about it either, but we decided for today to walk through Bennington, and do some window shopping. It's a very nice town, so as we got back down to the street, I saw Doug, spoke to him. April had a note by her car from the police, notifying her of the town-wide parking ban, the all-night parking ban on the streets of North Adams, effective Nov. 1. So, now, this put her further into an angry mood. Where would she be able to park her car now? When she first came to MCLA, we asked the host on duty in the Towers where she could park, and she was told she could park in the Admission Visitor lot. So, for two months, she was doing so, then she got a ticket. So, she had to park out on the street (since MCLA has NO visitor parking anywhere), but now she couldn't. Only later I find out she needs a visitor permit from Public Safety. Anyway, we went to Bennington, where we pigged out at Friendly's, then walked through the town, going into bookstores and chocolate stores. When we arrived back, since April couldn't get a permit from Public Safety (because they were closed, and no one told me that you need to take the overnight pass to Public Safety to get said pass), she put in a call to her house, and we got to her house, where we could rest and stay the weekend. At her house, Ryan, Apri and I watched the Wizard of Oz, then some comedy stuff on Comedy Central, and that would do it for those two--I stayed up and wrote.
Saturday: After waking, showered, ate, and got dressed for April's birthday present to me--a performance of Bill Cosby at Proctor's Theater. It was an amazing sight to behold--an element of age, antique, and old time theater, which was wonderful--definitely a place to dress at least somewhat formal for. We had pretty good seats, and the show was just downright hilarious, in true Cosby fashion. He made fun of some audience members, poked fun at old age, oh, fun!!! I was in hysterics, and April thought I was going to break her hand, I was holding it so tight. And he ended with his famous "Dentist" skit...my favorite routine. After a wonderful performance, we braved rain and April's sense of direction and found Red Lobster, which was the intended eating for tonight. Probably the biggest Red Lobster I've ever been in, it was also the busiest--we waited an hour for our table, but the food that followed was delicious, capped by myself eating a delectable chocolate dessert, while April dove into apples and yummy. After, we got back to her house, where we watched four episodes of Whose Line, then I did some gaming for the evening's writing. After Ryan went up, we enjoyed each other thoroughly, attempting a new position (which was met with success, for once) which we like very much. After she was tired, she went to bed, I stayed up and wrote shortly before crashing myself. Also this day was the birthday of my friend Annie. Happy birthday, Annie! Hope you had a blast.
Sunday: Woke around 12:30 or so, and fooded. The entire day, April seemed tired. I knew we had to go back home today, but April was quite tired. We watched a Chris Rock special, then another DVD, the Latin Kings of Comedy, in which I had a 6-minute nap. We would leave after dinner, except that afterwards, April needed some sleep. No way would she be driving that tired. So she took a nap, an hour and a half or so, and even afterwards, she was still tired, not fit to drive for several hours. So, the decision was made to stay another night, but we'd have to leave early Monday morning. Fine with me. I'd rather she be alive. So, after everyone went to bed, April and I were downstairs and we watched the Alistair Sim version of "A Christmas Carol," which I liked. Afterwards, some fun romping, and we went to bed around 1 AM, a little before.
Monday: This morning, woke at 7 AM...I haven't seen that hour since last August, where I was lying on the cold floor of T.F. Green Airport in Providence, RI after coming back from Oklahoma. Anyway, we ate, and April arrived back here, and I found that John has withdrawn from NaNo. So, once again, out of 4 people who were going to do NaNo, I am once again, the last one standing. With over 35,000 words under me, less than 15,000 remain, and these next 8 days are going to be loads of fun as I dash headlong to the finish line. However, an essay blocks my path, which I'll take care of later. In the meantime, April should be back in NP shortly, and I will go to Wal-Mart. So, there's the weekend recap. Now, I see April tomorrow night, and then we go to my house for Thanksgiving. In the meantime, back to regular life, and my work schedule for the next 2 days:
Today: 6-10.
Tomorrow: 2-11.
Fun. I'm 19 now. No more legal than I was when I turned 18.
Hope you all enjoyed your weekend.
