Well, it's official. It's now in writing and signed by me. After finals, I'm no longer an MCLA student. I went to RPS (think ResLife), then Advising Services and did the paperwork.

So now my days at MCLA are officially numbered. Time for a keg party.

Now, I'm not one to usually laugh at someone else's misfortune, but I'm making an exception here. Why? RPS just called for Kaz, and thus:

Last Friday, Kaz went to RPS and staked his claim to make this room a single when I leave. They said that they'd call him with a decision. Well, they called about a minute or two ago. They told him that they can't make a decision until Kaz's bill is paid off. He owes more money to MCLA than I do. And I just listened to him curse his father for not paying it, how he's getting in Kaz's way, etc, etc. So now Kaz is pissed. And I'm loving it. You'd think that with all the time Kaz spends in here, he'd at least attempt to do what I did and try to get loans. But he's done nothing except...sleep. He's already missed his first class today.

So, serves him right.

And a smile is on my face. Oh, I feel quite evil. At this rate, Kaz will also have to go home.

Ultimately, I will have the last laugh.

So, the sojurn at New Paltz comes to an end, and after a crazy beginning to the weekend, I sit here, the giddiness starting to wear off as I begin to think about the coming weeks. With possible further ado, time for the last weekend recap.

Thursday: After getting out of work at 8, April and I got back here, whereupon I packed and we proceeded to make the trip back to NP. After taking some time to get munchies and fueling, we continued down Route 2 in Williamstown, where we come upon the first kink in the evening--a cop pulls us over, the reason being that April didn't have her headlights on. We had both thought they were on--we were in a very well-lit section of road, so it was hard to tell if lights were on. So she forgot, and the cop gave her a written warning--no ticket, no fine. We talked the entire way to NP, and then...we get off Exit 18, the exit to NP, and at the end of the exit ramp, near the Mobil gas station, I tell April that my manager Jaymie had broken down right in this area a week ago. Apparently, Morgan Freeman (God) decided to take this opportunity to once again play a wonderful joke. God is once again beside himself with laughter. )
